Cassation appeal

You were convicted on appeal and disagree with the decision. It is possible to file an appeal in cassation within a period of fifteen days from the judgment. The appeal is filed by a declaration at the registry of the Court of Appeals. Only lawyers who have undergone special training in cassation and obtained a certificate may file an appeal in cassation.

VLVM attorneys have the required certificate. Please note, you will not receive a letter with the date when there will be a verdict. You will be notified only at the time the case is argued. The Supreme Court will not rule again on the facts. It will only consider whether the law was correctly applied. Procedural errors may be alleged.
